certainly its a very worthy laptop... lots of memory, decent processor... deeply few laptops are actually really well-mannered at gaming... but as long as you don't have to own the absolute best graphics this laptop will be more than all right
No laptops are good for gaming...Unless obviously the games are from the late 90's and you dont caution about playing online. Then you're ok

i find adjectives labops are close or te same just wih diffrent name ive never tried it but labtops ar usaully quite slow
No laptop is correct for gaming, they just don't hold the power and upgrade capabilities, if you're thinking of high-powered gaming, afterwards you'll need a tower, but if it's single for the most basic of games, afterwards you'll be okk with a laptop.
As for pictures, you should be fine near a laptop, just don't expect characteristic anywhere near as polite as a tower.

But READ the SPECS on games that you buy. Get to know the specs of the video that you have, and READ the specs on the hobby carefully. No situation what you buy, there is a team game that won't work. You see, games are all made differently next to different specs. Maybe you should review the specs of Games that you want, then look to see if the laptop that you want will work on those games.

NO! That laptop have what is called Shared video RAM...that is to say bad for gaming.
I would never buy a laptop as a primary gaming system. Most laptops do not allow for upgrading of video cards, which you would call for to do every couple of years, if you want to play the newest games.
Plus you would want a video card that does not share your hit. You want a video card that has it's own RAM
The speed and Ram that the laptop have is very pious. It would be great for basic portrait editing (photoshop, paint shop pro, etc).
But laptops make impossible gaming systems, long term astute, due to their limited proficiency to upgrade needed components.
If you do want a laptop for gaming, you will want at least a 512 mb video card (not shard), so that you won't hold to worry roughly speaking the video card aspect for a couple of years. Which would be very expensive! ( http://www.alienware.com/configurator_pa... ).
i'm afraid it may not even be that honourable for editing photo's the video card is a shared memmory card that means the laptop doesn't enjoy a seperate component for the video card itself, it just decrease it from the ram speed , they're the worst type of "virtual" video cards you can find , surrounded by rest it's pretty fast but it's never well brought-up for gaming... and for photo editing you want to have a blind as wide as possible... matching goes for gaming, you hold o think of the grand piano too , the framerate of the monitor, the maximum resolution, a laptop can't be good ample for the latest games
I am currently using a Pavillion dv6000 and it is skilful of playing Oblivion at reasonably soaring settings.
I really wouldn't believe everyone when they say laptops aren't for gaming. That laptop you enjoy there could probably play some pretty clothed games, and its got a pretty big intricate drive, so you should be set for photos. Good buy!
