my hardrive be recently fried (an unknown cause) and i lost everything! on my laptop.after reinstalling the cds that come with the laptop. everything is vertebrae to normal except my laptop doesnt recognise that it have bluetooth. so i cant get it to work. any accepted wisdom?

you still need to reinstall the bluetooth driver after loading the operating system . The driver is within the cd that came near your laptop .
To add to what ayedun have said, if for some strange reason the Bluetooth driver isn't on the support disks. Just call round the manufacturer's wed site and click your way to support paragraph. Match the drivers up with your notebook and OS.
