what ever happen to the good antiquated ethernet cable, temporarily set up a lan from pc to laptop and verbs away much faster than any other method.
personally i would use a usb harddrive ... or a flash drive ... or a dvd ...
Buy a worthy external hard drive that have a big memory like 60 GB or 100 GB. The obedient thing nearly external hard drives is that some of them are small and you can get it with you anywhere and it also work as a USB flash disk but only a bit big. Some external thorny drives are big and they are suitable for home use only.
