Toshibia is the orginial laptop. I have two next to no problems. We also have Gateway and here again, no problems. Many friends hold Dells and swear by them. But for the price, I'd probably go beside a Dell.
I have a toshiba A135-s4407 and i love it.i have a compaq which was trouble free for a year and a partly..a buddy of mine bought a dell the same time i bought my compaq and have since put in 2 monitors and a latest dvdr...after having to purchase the extened warr. for 250.i hope that help you
I purchased a Dell about a year ago. No regrets, they hold been markedly helpful when I hold had question.

Lenovo (formerly IBM), Dell, Toshiba and HP adjectives make a talent product and typically provide decent service. My first Compaq be a Compaq plus 20 years ago and the last ten years I own been using Toshiba laptops.
Not sure why you are asking, but if you are considering buying a laptop you might consider your requests and which laptop would best meet your desires. Consider you applications, the features you need and your budget.
If the HP and the Toshiba both will run your applications, are inwardly the feature set you want (size, display size, bulk, battery life span, etc.) then I consider you would be happy next to either businessman.
Toshiba is 100% better than Dell.
Dell helps out if you hold problems with anything. I completely dismantled my nouns top trying to figure out how to fix it, I sent it to dell and dell fixed it w/ no problem.
With the Dell, the Latitude series is better than the Inspiron, and near Toshiba Satellite Pro is the best series, but avoid the Tecra models.
I have 3 Toshiba's and my mom have 1. They are great never had a problem. I also have a dell so did my mom, aunt, and best friend. Nothing but problems. I can't remember but it was on 20/20 or 48 hours where on earth they were adage they found Dell was not truly giving their customers what they were asking for. Basically ripping general public off.
