Can I transer items from my old-fashioned laptop complicated drive to my current laptop?

Assuming that your aged drive is still good, in attendance are a couple of ways of doing this but the easiest would be to get a portable 2.5" USB drive housing ($20 - $30). There are many computer places that hold data recovery/transfer services (geek squad, etc.) Depending on your laptops Hard drive i would suggest pulling it out and seeing if you can plug it contained by to a desktop or different computer.
there are some softwares available close to desktop architect which will help you out contained by these requirements.
If the hard drive still spins, after you can get an external usb coop that will work with it, remove it from your laptop, and hook it to your unsullied machine.
Probably the best bet is to clutch it to a shop where they already own all the tools. You're going to settle $$.
Moral of the story (and for your new computer):
Backups are polite. If you have information (docs, pics, etc) that you care almost, they need to be on two places, solitary one of which is your hard drive.
