Can I extract the information sour my late laptop? If so, how do I do it?

I'm not sure if you can do it if it's unresponsive.. I know that you can attach some kind of line or something from one computer to the next and extract info. I would ask BestBuy or someplace of that sort.
Take out the tough drive, normally below the notebook or pull from the side . after get a USB2 external shell for 2.5" drives, insert the drive into it, plug the USB cable into another computer and the content should show up
