Everex = NO. Unknown brand with to be sure non existent tech support is not a good notion. For almost the same price you can bring back a brandname laptop and much more reliable laptop. Try Hp,Lenovo or Toshiba. If these still cost too much you can try a Compaq or Acer machines.
Not bad! but for the classic Vista Experience i would suggest getting Vista Home premium because home basic isn't extremely good!
but if you ponder your fine with elementary then that laptop should be appropriate!^_^

dont buy it! to me, it doesnt look impressive for the price.
carry a computer with an intel core 2 duo processor and at LEAST 1GB of RAM.
Go to www.circuitcity.com and you can read adjectives the customer reviews. It will give you an belief of what to look for. Just remember with window vista if the ram size is small it will run slow. Like the other entity said you get what you foot for.
