What would YOU prefer? A mac desktop, or a mac laptop? MacBook, or MacBook Pro? The brand new iMac, or the new MacMini? Post your feelings here!

Is portability inportant? If so, then your merely recourse is a laptop.

I have a G5 Tower and a PowerBook G4. I use both. The G5 get the heavy work nouns because it's raw power, and a 23" Cinema Display.

The PowerBook is my on the turn presentation machine, and portable editing lab.

iMac - hand down. Tried it all, Alex, use my experience and don't build costly mistakes.

i have a macbook and i love it. if you want more power and storage (bigger HD) you should obtain a desktop. if you're mostly gonna' use it at home a lot more than on the move about then the unsullied imac all the mode. but if you're on the go and stipulation a nice laptop get the macbook. if you want more than the macbook than go for the macbook pro ( i muse it's a little pricey though). you can other get a macbook and upgrade your RAM. you should achieve whatever suits your requirements and lifestyle.
