How durable and reliable is an HP Notebook?

im thinking of getting a dv9000t i beyond doubt luv everything about it, including it's price as in good health.

one thing that bothers me is it's design. its design looks really undersized and cheap. i am worried that if i drop it, it would break. and i am going to use it for about 6 years. can someone make clear to me if an HP dv9000t is strong enough to pilfer on my beating?

Answer:
dude, im sorry but i dislike intensely hp. i had one for a year and it quit charging from the actual laptop, not the plug. a friend basically got one and the in one piece side of it opens up and you can see the complete lcd screen. no he hasn't dropped it. i'd be in motion with an apple product, everyone i know is bright and breezy.
I LOVE HP

hey, just because it looks delicate and stylish doesn't mean it is efficiently breakable
mine is tough as nails (i own a dv6000t)
go next to it

hope this helps
I enjoy a dv8000 and it is great. If you love it then take it. I don't know of any laptop that will hold up perfectly if you drop it...
I surely love my HP Notebook, and the price was great!!
Service after the public sale is good, too. I hold used mine for a while now, and no problems (except for my losing my power cord, which they replaced beneath warranty!)
k well, unless you buy a laptop similar to a toughbook or something designed for the military, ANY laptop you drop is going to break somehow, so I suggest paying attention when carrying your laptop around. As far as laptops HP have good reputation within the market, and mortal an Owner of an HP laptop i must say I love it, but do yourself a favor and buy a laptop rucksack, they protect it and give it some insulation in the horrid event of a decline.
I'm typing on an HP ze4500 that I bought in 2003. I hold accidentally dropped it several times, and spilled a full 16 ounce glass of hose down on the keyboard once (fortunately.) I also enjoy recorded music near it, and traveled all over the place. To me it seem HP builds them like a container. Best luck I've had beside a computer.
It is nearly impossible to get an unbiassed feelings from a single individual. What you need to do is pop in a site like PCWorld.com that does lab carrying out tests on the latest and greatest. Look for the Reviews tab on their site. I hold had nil but bad luck near HP's ever since they switched to generic components years ago. My opinion, DELL RULES!
The just laptop design to accidental drops is Panasonic Tough books. other sagacious no matter what brand you buy if you drop it it depends on how high-ranking and how it Hts the floor.
If you buy a laptop don't drop it or wet it, buy the HP is a Good laptop
You should be more focused on if it will do what you want. Invest surrounded by a better carrying case. I never enjoy dropped a single laptop. If your a clutz and really think to be exact a possiblity then you should buy the warranty that insures you for everything.

Never have any problems with any on my HP laptops. They closing as well as the attention to detail you give it as anything.
Maybe this review will sustain you its very complete!!

Newer HP's a re terribly well built and awfully reliable. Almost as good as their really hoary stuff. 17 inch screens are MUCH more prone to make worse than 15.4 screens. Their hinge are weaker and there is more surface nouns to flex and to get hit by something. Accidental injure is NOT covered by a standard warranty. As far as dropping it, If youre clumsy, buy accidental despoil insurance.

The expected lifetime of a notebook is about 3 years. You can carry more out of it if youre careful, but during that same time, it will age, build up bloat and its specs wont be even close to the rest of the machines around it.

Invest contained by a good carrying covering also
