The laptop you are looking at it is not bleak, but the Core Duo (32bit) processor is not as new as its counterpart Core 2 Duo (64bit), core 2 duo should be faster and should also later you a bit more than core duo. If you are going to run Vista, then 2gb of push is the best way to shift, your graphics card is pretty good, your harddrive is not desperate, and the remaning parts are fine. I would strongly recommend to have a look at the alien Dell Inpiron's 1420/1520/1720, they offer fundamentally good parts at a really competitive price, and grant you the choice of 8 colours.
Good luck,
You need a Apple Computer don't bring back a virus filled notebook.
The requirements are quite low compared to at the moment laptops.
Most new laptops glibly satisfy the requirements.
Intel Core Duo processor is the elder generation whereas Intel Core 2 Duo is the most modern one. Basically both cpu runs with 2 chips and the speed is the biggest difference
If you resembling Windows, you can check out dell (cheap and fair quality), lenovo (great build and for business, extra money for video card) or ASUS (taiwan brand)
Of course you can other go for the Macs
you necessitate a dell there the best
