Ya regulars, if i want to write longer question?

i realize this will nouns stupid but, when im on this site there seem to be some pretty long winded questions and i hold a limited amount of space. im a bit computer illiterate so can someone bring up to date me how this is done? also wondering about the long answers?

You can post what you can type within the given number of characters allowed surrounded by your first post and then post it. Underneath your post, there's a button that allows you to add on "extended details". You may use that to extend your question.
