Best ever?

Any opinion on the Apple Laptops? I'm going to an art/design school, so citizens have be telling me that I'll most possible need an apple computer. I've be checking them out online and the stores and stuff, but it's not like I've have it with me for a long time so I dont really know! Is it worth buying?

There's a nice article out, I own the URL listed below, that compares Mac computers to PCs. All contained by all when everything is taken into consideration, the prices are close the same.
The top rate laptop according to Consumer Reports (they surveyed 100,000 laptop users) is a MacBook Pro. If you are going to an art/design school, you'll involve a Mac. I'd recommend the MacBook Pro, Apple has an coaching store that will give you a discount and free iPod Nano. I skilled art for 30 years and only used Apples and Macs. My daughter graduate an art/design school and simply used Macs. She has her own business and have two Macs. They are stress free, no viruses, adware or malware.
If you want to shell out more money for one, it is definately worth. But you can get hold of a pretty powerful machine for like peas in a pod price as a mac that will do as much..
I have hear people swear by Apple's laptops, truism they're better by Dell's by miles. I own a newer Intel iMac (Not the Aluminum version) and I must say, Mac OS is simply FANTASTIC.
Apple Computers are flawless for graphics designing. I think you really necessitate one.
Yes get a mac they are the best computers. I get a dell last year and it keep crashing once a month. I have adjectives the virus and spyware programs installed by geek squad.

I'm buying a macbook this year. My friend has have macs her whole duration and still has one from nearly 96 that still works. I would get one!

Her parents are also pictographic designers and work on macs everyday.
abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz... now i know my abc's subsequent time won't you sing with me!! woooohooo!!!!
I've traditionally be a PC user but I became a Mac user just now when I started my current job and received a company owned mac book pro. It took awhile to grasp used coming from a Windows environment but I really like it in a minute.

Pluses: The UI is amazing, I love being competent to scroll with two fingers and I also enjoy a program called Parallels installed so I can run Windows at indistinguishable time if I want.

Negatives: Expensive and not as many programs as on a PC. For example Rhapsody doesn't enjoy a Desktop version of their Music Player for Mac.

All surrounded by all I doubt I would by an Apple desktop computer however if I be going to buy a laptop for myself I would definitely buy an Apple MacBook Pro over a comparable PC one.
