I think adjectives they're saying is if you buy a unusual one, you don't have to be in motion get a bunch of things within order to know how to interact. The type of people those commercials target don't want to hold to bother with buying a webcam and setting it up (even though its REALLY easy)
Mac have a niche audience of people who don't want to enjoy to worry more or less their computers, and will pay properly. Most mac users want to be able to plug one cord into the wall, turn it on, and chat next to their friends. They do this very capably, but for someone who likes more individuality, flexibility and doesn't mind a few more wires will be better rotten going with a PC.
