How do I upgrade my XPS M170 Laptop to a dualcore CPU?

My laptop is still below waranty. I would like to do this minus voiding it.

Probably can't do it without voiding the warranty. There may be an exception if you use manufacturer recommended parts. Check with the warranty issuer.
