Macbook or HP Pavilion dv2000t?

Hi
I am planning to buy a strange laptop. I am trying to decide between two brands, HP Pavilion dv2000t or Macbook beside 1GB. Never used a Mac system before, and both of them will cost me like amount of money.
I am not an advanced computer user, I mean I a short time ago write documents, do presentations, internet, watching movies...but I am not working on graphics or design related areas. That's why I am not sure whether it is woth to hold a Mac or it is just a big trouble ....So I stipulation an advice.

Answer:
Trust me, attain the MacBook.
than thats all up to you mac is well-mannered in graphics and music programs and window are well again its up to you if you resembling downloading drivers and downloading patches and updates and other crashing than buy windows base computer
For you, I would get the MacBook. It's low upholding and if you're not playing games or something that require windows, Macs are much better.

Don't verbs about how Macs design and interface is set up, it's undemanding to learn.
macbooks are amazing near especially with the core 2 duo and 1 gb knock against.. they are perfect for any type of users.. they come with wireless internet built within, bluetooth, etc.. the macbooks also have their complicated disk with motion sensor.. so if you be to drop by acident.. ur hard disk wont achieve damaged.. and it have a lot more amazing features.. near webcam and mic built in.. and the proficiency to run windows xp.. so if you muse you need window.. jst download the software called "boot camp" and you can immediately run windows xp surrounded by mac and play ur games etc.. or run a software which is designed for windows xp.
If you want mac book that you can label music and and is more graphic. But for you the HP would be better!
i'm a mac user and enjoy always have good luck beside their computers and operating system. i don't know if you live near an apple store, but if you do, i'd jump in and check them out. the computers are set up so you can truly play around with them. ask question, the salespeople are low pressure and i've always found them really beneficial. i think you'll find that the mac operating system (osx) is really jammy to learn.

but really, which computer you should gain boils down to which one fits you better. and you're the only human being who can answer that question!
I hold the same problem too. I entail a computer and coulnd't decide which to find because both of them have so plentiful good specifications.
As far as I know HP 2000t is a markedly advanced level PC. I aim it works with window vista and is has Intel Duo inside. More importantly some models enjoy a good pictographic card which enable you to play 3Dgames, if you are interested within playing games. But the Macbook with 1GB is a fundamentally basic macbook and probably doesn't hold the features and compatibility that an HP 2000t has. And if you really want the Mac system I judge you should wait the tentative MAC OS X Leopard to come. It is expected to be in the stores surrounded by this spring and it seems resembling a very lofty level system near so many advantages.
But roughly I want to have an Apple Macbook too but I hear so many doomed to failure things from Macbook users such as the heat problem, compatibility issues, even if it have boot camp which allows you to run window xp it makes the system slow down, and also once you own the macbook you are having so frequent technical problems that you requirement to have a right warranty and all these things appear like small problems that Apple wishes to be happened to build more money. That's why even if I want to, it looks like a trouble to hold a Mac..
Getting a Mac is NEVER a big trouble! It's a very dutiful purchase decision. Apple have very flawless customer support. For what you want to do either computer would be fine, however I surmise it's time you start to experience a REAL computer. What do you think?
I said asked my self alike question and I be very self-righteous with the Macbook.
