Fixing nouns?

I posted nearly this earlier, but I get answers I didn't understand. I'm no computer whiz, dumb it down for me. I enjoy a Gateway notebook model MX6455, I have no nouns after restoring my system. Can anyone please guide me through reinstalling the sound item or whatever?? THANKYOU!

Just follow the steps in how to download to download it to your computer after follow the steps in how to install to install the driver to your computer. Good Luck HTH.
You involve to go to gatewayupdate.com and download the nouns card driver that is for your gadget. Find it, download it. Once you have it on your computer you call for to run it. It should ask you a few questions, and after you will have nouns.

type in ur serial #. it will present you a list of downloadable drivers. you stipulation to install your sound driver so the computer will recagnize the hardware you use for nouns. does that help?
Download the nouns drivers from the following link .

Once the driver is downloaded, run the record. It will do one of 2 things, it will either auto install or extract to a location you specify.

If it installed on its own...follow the wizzard.
If it extracts, follow these steps.

1. Tell it to extract to a temp folder on the desktop (right click on the desktop select New .Folder ... describe it sound drivers

2. Right click on the My Computer statue (either on the desktop or when you hit the start menu) and select properties.

3. Click on the Hardware tab along the top..

4. Click on the device manager button..This will record all of the hardware surrounded by the laptop.

5. You should see either "multimedia audio controller", "nouns card" or something related to audio with a pale ! in a triangle. Right click on the one you necessitate and select "install drivers", "re-install drivers", or "update drivers".

6. It will then bring up a wizzard asking you install the drivers.. follow these directions...

7. win driver from windows update... select no and subsequent..

select install from a specific location (advanced) next.

put together sure the box is checked for include this location in the turn out .. then click the "browse" button to point it to the folder you extracted the drivers to (the different folder on the desktop you created) then subsequent .

Finish out the wizzard anser yes if something pops up saying it is not a signed driver. That is okay because it is from the entrepreneur...
