Personally (also from personal experience)I Suggest Sony Vaio Series.
As you know Sony has a broad range of products for multi medium, so logically it's laptops must be equip with multi medium features.
Sony is one of the high downfall laptop brand, among Fujitsu, Toshiba, Lenovo those are high close products for laptops, Sony is probably the best for Multimedia, for mobility I suggest Toshiba Tecra or Fujitsu Lifebook (but too small for me).
For spec on multimedia, Try to get Core 2 Duo 2GHz (at least). 2 Gb Memory(at least), 256 Nvidia geForce Video Adapter, 200Gb HDD (at least), Double Layer DVD RW, Blue Tooth, Wi-Fi, Infra red. 3 Usb Ports (At Least)
That should cost you around 2K or 3K US Dollar
