I own a notebook dell computer, 1501. it keep freezing up on me. why is that?

It can be any number of things:
- Your processor is overworked to the point where window freezes up. This is usually caused by have too little memory and too much junk and other clutter on your computer. To fix this you should reclaim any files you need and wipe your computer verbs by formatting it.
- A virus or spy-ware. Run a virus checker like Norton and download a spy-ware detector (I close to to use Ad-Aware. It's free and it catches most of the stuff. You can find it at download.com)
