Answer:
With that exceptional computer, your money would be better invested in purchasing a topical or newer gently used laptop.
With just a 233mhz machine nearby is very little that it will know how to run even with increased run into and harddrive space unfortunatly.
If you just obligation this computer to run basic programs close to word, excel etc. Your best inexpensive option is a trial low end model laptop, or relativly foreign gently used laptop.
whats the brand name and model of your laptop
Each computer is put together differently, so you need information specific to your computer model. I added memory to my laptop by following the instructions surrounded by the users manual. Maybe the manufacturer's pattern site can help. The biggest problem I have with my HP be finding where to plug the memory contained by, which in this overnight case required removing the keyboard (without breaking it). I used to hold a Toshiba, with have an access panel on the bottom.
well it depends on the indervidual laptop (they are closely less satandardised than desktops) but shifting the hard drive is pretty flowing because all you own to do is remove the cover at the base of the element slide it to where the break is and lift it out, bring off the metal encase the drive itself, and put the new drive surrounded by (you may need a screwdriver for this part) very soon slide it back contained by, viola, however may i advise that if you are not sure you bring it to a profesional as if you damage it your entrepreneur won't repair it! so let some one who know what they are doing do it for you and normally they don't charge fundamentally much on top of what it costs them to do it, infact although i work surrounded by IT and have a level in computer science and know exactly what I'm doing I regularly take my computer to a shop to enjoy upgrades because it actully works out cheaper to have some one else do it than buy the parts myself!
