Why does my laptop not read a dvd-rom winter sport disc(original)when its a dvd/cd combo-drive. its a matshita ujda760
newspaper: windows xp
competent to read dvd movies, and play normal cd games.
but only just doesn't read that particular winter sport.
(as though no disc was put in)
the team game works perfectly fine on another notebook though.

Your optical drive may not support the format, (DVD-R, DVD+R, and such). Check either the casing or the info online.
Try looking for a flash update for the dvd drive from the manufactures website.
