you can capture a copy of the XP CD at your local computer shop. what you will do is run the repair instalation wizard once you carry the disk. pop the cd in and it will boot rotten of it. it will then come across to start the install windows process and you will achieve sub headings at the bottom of the pane that says hit "R" to repair an instalation. do this and it will copy these files needed or are missing. if you do some inquiring on google and find out the path where on earth the file is supposed to be, afterwards you can copy the file onto a floppy disk, boot your system near a start-up disk to get a dos prompt and when you procure to the prompt, type in "COPY:(file first name you lost which is) normalize.dll (put space between here)C:\windows\system BELOW IS A LINK TO GET THE FILE ONLINE.

If you enjoy a XP installation disk , you can run a repair install and your computer will be back to conventional as it was formerly , without any loss of notes files. Without an installation disk , not possible
Find a friend beside xp and get them to label you a windows boot disk. Start the mechanism with the boot disk within it. Once you can get window back up, you can recuperate the file from the recycle bin if it hasn't be compleatly deleted. If it have been compleatly delete, you may be able to do a restore from the afternoon before it be deleted. Also, you may know how to copy it from the boot disk.
