How do I configure my laptop to connect to the internet while I travel?
Answer:
Most hotels hold free wired or wireless Internet available.
But if you dont use a high- speed internet connection follow these steps:
1- While within Internet Explorer, press Alt, to display the basic tool block.
2- Select 'Tools' and go down to 'Internet Connections' within the drop- down menu.
3- Go to the 'Connections' tab; in the middle, product sure 'Dial a connection if a gridiron connection is out.'
Click Apply
4- Go to LAN settings on that same page. Check 'Automatically detect settings'.
Click Apply.
5- Click OK and close Internet Explorer. Restart your computer.
that would be a wirless connection
I assume you're using Windows and that you want a wireless see setup. Go to Start->Settings. Click on "Wireless Network Setup Wizard" and follow the directions.
If you're going to do a wire plugin later just plug it contained by! You're done.
