Do adjectives laptop computer warranty cover the adapter too?

I bought a laptop (HP dv6000) smaller amount than a year ago. I moved into my new house ultimate week and my computer fell on its side and the adapter part that plugs into the computer get bent so my computer won't charge anymore. I bought a 1 year warranty for my computer but does that cover the adapter?

yes but take laptop beside you, the socket that the power supply plugs into may be damaged - this is more credible than the lead from the power supply
