Anything with Dual-core processors - (AMD or Intel), at lowest 1GB of RAM and a video card with at lowest 128 Dedicated Video RAM. You would want Wireless connection too - which most come near now anyway, and I would voice at least 120GB Hard drive. That should set you up other for the basics that you provided. Hope this help...

here is my checklist in buying a trial laptop:
1. Choose laptops with the Intel motherboard and chipset.
2. Choose laptops next to an Intel processor.
3. Choose laptops with 1 GB minimum RAM or memory.
4. Choose laptops near 100 GB minimum HDD.
5. Choose laptops with a DVD Burner preferably a multidrive burner.
6. Choose laptops near built-in 5n1 or 8n1 card reader or more.
7. Lastly, choose laptops that is in ur budget cap but have all the features down above.
