Hi James B,

Maybe your computer loses nouns to the internet. Try something like a download governor:
http://www.flashget.com/en/download.htm... (free) that allows you to pause and resume the profile that you are trying to download.

I recommend using Mozilla Firefox http://www.firefox.com as your web browser instead of Internet Explorer. It's more support and easier to manage and resume your downloads.

If you are running Windows, you more than potential have a "PC". As it's a HP Pavilion, next it is definitely a "PC". "Apple" refers to a MAC computer. "Intel" is the cross of your processor manufacturer (A component inside your computer that does adjectives the hard work). "AMD" is another mark of a processor manufactuer.

For more info on what hardware you have, Click on the start menu -> Programs -> Accessories -> System tools -> System Information

and own a look in near, that will give you immensely detailed information on what sort of computer you have.

Hope this help,

HP will be a "X86"

make sure you're computer supports the min. specs for a install

if you're still have problems try burning another copy of the iso as the one you have may be corrupt
