What can I do to fix a laptop lcd display that shows a vertical dash surrounded by the doll?

are in attendance any other options available besides replacing the lcd blind?

i had duplicate promblem with my laptop. depending on how aged the laptop is...it may be better to get a strange computer all together fairly than replacing it with a investigational 300 dollar lcd screen. i concluded up buying a new laptop. honourable luck.
