Insert the Install disc that come with your Mac. Double click Install Mac OS X and Bundled Software. Follow the prompts. When you win to the Select a Destination screen, choose Erase & Install. In the Format Disk As pop-up menu choose Mac OS Extended (Journaled). Click OK and Continue. Your choice will be to Easy Install, installs everything, and Custom Install, give you a choice to install certain items one and only. Click on Install button to start the installation.
use the install disk that came next to your computer and choose the "erase" feature from it. after re-install osx from the disk.
