I would lug it back close to pronto. And I would ask for a refund and not another computer. Tell the official that this experience has be a burden and mention you will never shop here again. Take your money to a computer expert store and buy a real computer that comes surrounded by a box.
do a system recovery/system restore, if you have not get the disc, contact the retailer, they must have done restore discs, i know they do it, i dont know if they preserve the restore discs or hand it to you...since the laptop be a display, then the customers may enjoy mest up windows, so do a system repossession using the recovery discs..

what u do is when that screen comes on press F1 and it should fix it right up
