What notebook is better, Sony Vaio notebook or Apple Macbook Pro?

Answer:
I give attention to they're both great choices for people who close to to pay channel too much and get far too little, surrounded by return.

Get a Dell or a Gateway. You'll get similar features for smaller amount money and the machine will bring back the job done for you, newly as well. You're simply going to want to replace it in a year or two, anyway, so why overpay?

I enjoy a Gateway purchased as a remanufactured unit on Ebay for nearly $650 bucks. It's dual core, has plenty of memory and HD, great display, great speed, etc. It's a year weak, with no malfunction or defects and I expect it'll budge for another couple of years before I wish to replace it, again with something massively functional, but cheap.

Probably tons of race will pipe up with "Gateway sucks because..." comments. The worst mistake you can formulate in choosing a system is "brand loyalty". Just buy by features and price. ANY of the principal brands will give you a appropriate, reliable machine.

Another poster said something roughly speaking Vaio's having problems beside capacitors on the mother board. Never heard that one. I know population who have VERY OLD Vaios. They're excellent (but overpriced) machines.
apple is more angelic looking,
you can run both mac and windows on an apple laptop,
unlike sony.
logically sony is great but check on that mac and windows item.
Depends on what operating system you want: Windows Vista/Xp or Mac OSX?
Your decision also depends on your budget.

But the problem is that Macbook Pro and Vaio are totally different laptops.
You're comparing Apples and Oranges here.
Macbook is the better hardware hand down Sony have problems next to the capactors on the motherboard on the VAIOs and it has be known comparatively often that they exceed the power delineate and destroy the computer so the Macbook is right and you should be able to run window on it as well if you want so i would budge with that
Apple Macbook Pro
here's a contact to MacBook Pros on ebay.
