My laptop eyeshade is dim . it seem that the backlight have slipshod . what could inflict this ?

hold you tried to increase the brightness or contrast settings..
If not try that.
Did it seem to dim when you unplug it from the AC power. If so specifically normal. If you wanna modify it, you must go into the bio settings.
If you enjoy a Toshiba laptop or Computer they give you Toshiba Power shareholder and sometimes it acts dumb and you own to change the brightness sometimes. Just turn to Start>Control Panel>Switch to Classic View>TOSHIBA POWER SAVER> and you can adjust your settings accordingly...

If you don't own Toshiba try going to Start>Control Panel>Switch to Classic View>Power Options> and try to configure it from there.
