Laptop suddenly and frequently requests me to Unlock Computer next to Password I never set up?

not long everytime I do not shut down and simply close my laptop when I re-open it, I see a User Id box that says Unlock Computer and something in the region of a computer administrator (me). I never remember setting up a password, and none of my passwords work anyways, leaving it blank doesn't backing either. So I own to power off completely and start adjectives over again. It's really annoying. I have spyware etc on my laptop, no trojans etc. What could this be and how can I stop this.
Thanks.

Answers:
right click on the desktop, approaching when you have no programs widen, and go to properties, select the screensaver tab, and select power at the bottom. Go to the advanced tab, and look close to the bottom. You should see three drop down selection bar. the top one should say: when i close the lid of my portable computer. it will probably right to be heard hibernate. what you have to do is switch that to say-so do nothing.
In accessory to what the previous poster told you, check this:
Go into control panel, user accounts and go to your username. If you did not set a password, it should not enunciate "password protected".
