Which dell to choose..?
i'm a college bound student.
and i'm contemplating on whether getting a e1405 or 1505. presently i know the 1505 is a bit bigger [and cheaper?], but which one would hold up better[long battery life span, etc]?
thanks.
Answer:
which ever computer have the better upgrade. Both have going on for the same warranty. You could procure the cheaper one, and buy a spare battery, if you want to be smart.
I own a older Dell, and the freestyle still runs 3 1/2 hours. I would get the absolute RAM, and the right software. 80Gig hard drive is plenty. and Pentium 4 is a dependable processor.
Most of the counterbalance is the battery.
I bought the Dell 1505 end September and wish I would hold went near the Sony Vaio. I bought the laptop for my classwork. and even upgraded it. I've had a Vaio desktop for 6 years and still use it most of the time. It's worth the extra investment. But if you similar to Dell the 1505 is OK although I did have alot of problems surrounded by the beginning I construe it's been fixed immediately.
I like to buy the refurbished ones at partially price, with warranty, because most systems take stolen or broken in a university environment.
I like cheaptronicsdepot dot com cus they is in the neighbourhood my home, and Pat and Greg are great at making sure these are the right stuff.
There are like 500 vendor doing the recently off-corporate-lease computers at cheap prices.
That is what I filch to school, so not a soul steals it, but, it works fast plenty for the school work.
I preserve the real super stuff locked up at the dorm. Classrooms other have at tiniest one thief!
Dell offer the 1405 with a 9 cell battery which will ultimate about 5 hours, short music and using only one Internet page.
I deduce the price with an Intel Processor is just about $1200 it weight in the order of 5 lbs
I'd go for the 1505. It's more rumble for the buck.
