my macintosh powerbook 160 have not been used for a little years it will not turn on now (that is the problem ) how do i turn on the computer when i do adjectives i get is a black blind i tried the contrast setting on the side still no luck help would be appreciated gratitude

First off, you own the power cord connected, right? I'm sure that the battery is highly dead, and is so weak that it may not be able to hold a charge. I've Googled your PowerBook and you can do that to get hold of sites like this:
