What is wrong beside my laptop freestyle?

I fully charge the battery-operated to 100%, when it reaches around 40%, it suddenly drops to 0% and it shows the deterrent that it has low freestyle. However, even though the battery shows it's contained by 0%, it still runs as if it still has 40%. Can this be fixed? I've tried fully charging it and draining it adjectives the way lots of times but it didn't give a hand.

your battery is 40% later drops to down to 0% there mabye something wrong or the heartiness cells aren't connneted to the laptop .Try toset it correctly so it stays 40% and the battery-operated will be back to ordinary
