Advantages & disadvantages of a celeron laptop?

i only got a Toshiba celeron laptop and i want to know the different between a celeron and a pentium laptops.

Answer:
"Celeron" is a model of processor widely available. This technology is the most minuscule expensive, though the main disadvantage is that it can not feel multi-tasking very resourcefully. In other words, if you're used to having multiple programs or window open at impossible to tell apart time, Celeron processors are not really designed for such activity. Otherwise, it may be a cheaper alternative if price is the most crucial factor (Celeron processors, found in both notebook and desktop computers, can cutback the price of a computer by hundreds of dollars).

the Pentium is designed specifically towards low power consumption, i.e. better possibilities when travelling.

-ciao!!!
I have a Celeron contained by my HP laptop. It runs hot and drains the battery in a flash; I only find about an hour of mobile time on it. My stepmom got a Centrino and get about 3-4 hours out of it.
The Celeron runs cooler but it's execution is nor as good as the Pentium because it's slower and have less cache.
Laptop Processors:
Celeron is somewhat an mature type of Inter processors, they are kinda cheap but not as powerful as the one's below:

Better Processors:

Centrino is the current choice of laptop processors of intel. They are lightweight but powerful, the new Centrino's come surrounded by Dual Core (Centrino Core 2 Duo) which means they can process facts 2X faster with 2 cores.

Pentium is for desktops mostly, they generate more bake and use more energy (bad for laptops). But they are vastly powerful also.
