How reliable are laptops/notebooks?
Answer:
With laptops you generally catch what you pay for, brand new, top of the line, capably known brands will probably finishing you. Used, refurbished, and generic laptops you take a big risk near.
Laptops also tend to be less extensible and upgradeable than desktops.
buy one fresh, on sale best specs lowest price most software and adjectives at once.
depends, what type of refurb? Some refurb's are good as strange. With anything you buy get a warranty ..remember it's just hardware. I have have a laptop for some time now and I hold never had a problem next to it.
I personally would support on getting a new laptop. Laptops are pretty reliable, but similar to all electronics you own to take assistance with them. I would recommend on going with a Dell, you can hold alot of choice in your laptop so you can choose what best fits you.
Laptops/notebooks are merely as reliable as desktop PC's. You need to know exactly what you are looking for when you stir into the store - the salesperson does not care almost you, just almost making a sale. Research sensibly before you put together a purchase, ask friends, work colleagues and family what they own and if it works for them. See if you can borrow one for a week or so to see how it fits in near what you want it for. You are better off purchasing from a store a bit than second hand - the store will hold new ones that work and will come near a warranty, second hand might pull the wool over your eyes and will not come with a warranty.
You pretty much take what you pay for. You also own to look at the fine print and see what you get. Whatever you do don't go and get a Gateway I've had so plentiful problems with those. Dell is particularly reliable depending on which one you get as ably as Sony.
