You know you don't hold to put it on your lap!!
You shouldn't put iton your nouns, it blocks the fans on the bottom of your laptop. I put mine on a dinner tray on my nouns and it works just fine! =)
Try a laptop stand.

Personally, I resembling the heat my laptop generate. I wonder if yours is overheating a little? It shouldn't be uncomfortable to the touch.
just use sheets or a towel or somthing, thats what I do.
Put it on a table. Lol.
you necessitate to protect your lap-top from your lap---------when you put your laptop on your lap it overheats and thats the worst antagonist to sensitive electronic equipment----i use a folding plastic gizmo that i got at walmart it have holes in it and is adjustable so you can adjust the angle at which your laptop sits-----to be reasonably frank i wouldnt be without one immediately that i have gotten used to it-----even use it to play my xylophone also.------it also have ribs and rubber bumpers----get one----you won't be sorry------------you and your laptop will thank me.
There are a ton of places you can buy different devices to protect your lap. Just fiy, the laptop wants more protection from your lap. The extra warmth can make like mad of laptops do crazy things.
Check out Staples, Office Depot, Compusa, Fry's, and even Target. Basically, there are two types of devices. One is a downcast approach which is basically a fancy passageway of saying that it's some loving of stilts that raises the laptop rotten of the surface so that air can circulate underneath. The other approach is some liberal of fan or fan in a skin that theoretically sucks the warmness out of the laptop and expels it out the sides of the device. This kind of device of late plugs into your USB port. Be careful beside these, I bought one that didn't have adequate clearance from the case and in actuality ground away some of my laptop's underside.
go to a hardware store or lumber courtyard and have them cut you a 1/2 inch tacky piece of plexiglass several inches bigger than your laptop. this should be rigid enough to support the laptop and hand over you plenty of space for air to flow below it. you might also drill a few small holes in the middle of the plexiglass so nouns can flow through it as well. your choice.
You're really not supposed to sit your laptop on your nouns but if you insist... you can purchase a chill mat from best buy. Thin device sits under your laptop, have small fans, and get power through your usb port. cools laptop tremendously.
