Why wont my laptop bootup?
Answer:
I'm guessing you're not getting any manner of picture on the LCD from your description. If that is the bag, your LCD or part of the graphics display may be worn out. Try plugging an external monitor into the laptop (you should be able to find a blue VGA connector on the side somewhere) and see if you obtain a picture. This will determine whether or not it's just a graphics issue.
If you are getting a picture, you may own something in the startup routine that desires to be fixed. Test this by powering up the PC and tapping F5 or F8 to capture to the boot menu. A black screen near white writing should show up... select the first Safe Mode and try to boot into Windows that way. If it go there, you probably enjoy something in startup or elsewhere that requests to be fixed. Click START, then RUN, type "MSCONFIG", select the STARTUP tab, and next click DISABLE ALL. Click OK and let your computer reboot into usual mode. If it gets here, you can go spinal column to MSCONFIG and start re-enabling the lines by clicking in the boxes to the gone and rebooting. Once it stops booting into normal mode, you've found the problem.
Hope that help!

I'm pretty sure your screen is adjectives out or you need a untried video/graphics card. My computer had alike problem, it would make the startup noise then the peak would just be black. Turned out my video card be screwed up.
