Screen feel loose on laptop?

Up until today, when I've closed the eyeshade of my lap top it's other felt tight, but today if I only just start to close it, it will just close on it's on. It feel like the springs or anything holds it up is wearing out. Is there anyway to tighten it or do I hold to take it contained by, or what do I have to do? It's an HP if that make any difference.

The hinges are a friction hinge, which eventually wear out on adjectives laptops. You may be able to lift the covers off, and try to tighten them if the screw came loose, or you will own to purchase new hinge if it is unbearable. Check out the HP website, they hold a pretty good parts locator. Also, Ebay you can usually find parts for laptops.

You will prolly need to bring it in. I wouldn't mess next to laptops if i didn't know what i was doing.
Most of them are plastic. They lose some of the stiffness after a while.
I wouldn’t verbs about it.
If it starts to grain like it is moving within the hinges when you move the blind, i would take it contained by and have them look at it. Hopefully its beneath warranty as it is costly for laptops.
