Answer:
USB flash drive are considered a removable storage medium just resembling floppy disk and tape drives, but due to its compactness, handy (it looks approaching just a push button chain) and its ability to store facts fast (thats why he get he's name flash drive), and of late a simple plug in to a usb port, you can in a minute transfer information from one PC to another. Well, the flash drive can surely,no doubt, verbs your old music from your infirm laptop to your new laptop. In the open market a wide screening of drive capacity are available from 256 Mb up to 4GB. Consider that the sophisticated the capacity the more it cost, okey! But I can guidance you the 2GB USB flash drive, will help most. Come to believe of it, 2,000 songs, that's a very roomy amount of music data! But next its now your turn, on how lots times you plug in, plug out... copy, verbs your music from one PC to another... and the USB flash drive will help you out. Good luck!!!!
If you`re frequently moving files from computer to computer, you might as all right have one. If both PC have USB 2.0 ports, get a USB 2.0 compliant USB flash drive as the verbs rate is higher. Size is according to your budget. USB drives are cheap these days, maybe you can win yourself a 512MB or a 1GB one.

Or, you can get yourself a USB see connector and connect both PCs together.

Still, I`m not sure whether there are copy limitations on itunes music files because I seldom use proprietary software.
Well you could buy a 2GB flash drive because from what I've see in stores that's cheapest dignified memory flash drive I've seen. I've also see 4GB-6GB FD's but the prices for those drives would get you a superior capacity USB external Hard Drive which is better. But if your on a budget (which I presume you are coz' you just bought a Laptop) you could a short time ago get a 2GB FD.
