Gateway laptop?

Anybody else enjoy problems with gateway? I sent my laptop within because it wouldn't charge, mind you the laptop was within prefect working condition other than that.They sent it rear to me saying within was a soft spill! WHAT?! Impossible.Oh and now the laptop doesn't work at adjectives! I am wondering how a perfect laptop that wouldn't charge turned into a laptop that is to say dead and doesn't work at adjectives?I just needed a investigational battery for crying noticeably.I repeatedly called gateway and presently there is a block on my laptop so it can't be repaired ever again.And I still hold my warranty.Any ideas on how I can solve this problem?

Write a memo to the president of the company. Tell him what happened and that you did not spill anything on the computer and that it have to be done when it was surrounded by repair. If he gives you a firm time Tell him if he doesn't want you going to the papers they better issue you a new one. Yikes! Well, I can't reason of any specific advice for this situation, but I don`t know some advice for the adjectives.

If you purchase a new laptop and/or computer within the new adjectives, purchase it at a store, Best Buy or Circuit City for example. Purchase a extended service plan from the store, usually the prices are not that bad for one year, and you can budge for more.

The reason I read out this is because you will have a physical place to bring your laptop/computer to if desires repair. Mailing and over the phone customer service is a headache and often not obliging. I know many populace who have have their Dell and Gateway computers replaced many times due to continuing problems.

On top of have a place to bring your laptop to, many stores close to Best Buy do make a slaughter on these extended service agreements, and don't push the issue about what happen, how long it will be prepared etc. For example, I know someone personally who bought a Sony Vaio from Best Buy and the not easy drive crashed during her service agreement with Best Buy. She brought the laptop to Best Buy and their tech pulled as much information as he could sour the damaged knotty drive and handed her a brand different Vaio.

yes I do own problems with gateway. My DVD burner does not work and they told me to download this and that and it really messed it up. I hold had other problems too. The service is catastrophic so the best thing I can say-so is next time you bring back a laptop dont get a gateway. As far as the warranty go it should be covered no matter what. When I bought mine I asked them not if but WHEN I spill something on it will it be covered underneath the plan. They said yes. I would not hold my breath knowing what I know now...
