How to reset dell inspiron 1000 bios password?
Answer:
When you Boot the Laptop the first eyeshade will tell you which BIOS you own on your laptop, Pheonix Bios, Apache Bios, Etc. Without Dissasembling the laptop to flash the Bios, it you edit your grill and include which Bios and version you enjoy, there are backdoor passwords provided by the bios manufacturer, and I can probably look it up for you. But I would need the Bios Name, and Bios Version.
thats not really enuf info, as not adjectives inspiron 1000's will neccesarily have one and the same bios version, but you can try the symbols located

i dont think the first guy know what he talking more or less, i mean, if they would simply give you backdoor password, after anyone cud get it lol
There are BIOS password crackers, and knowing which bios you hold will let you know which cracker you hold to get. The other route is to remove the battery to your motherboard and short out the proper pins to reset your bios to manufacturer settings. Hard to do on a laptop.
IF you are tech minded, and know how to take laptops apart (& put them put money on togerther again :-) ), THEN ...
Make a note of adjectives your BIOS settings.
Remove Battery. Remove casing & locate BIOS chip. There MAY be a bit jumper distinct 'CMOS RST' - or maybe not. If not, remove the little CMOS mobile (flat nickel sized, usually CR3020 or similar) for an hour.
This will 'reset' the BIOS to the default (factory) settings, including the date & time.
