How do I connect my laptop to my home PC?

Is within any way I can connect my laptop to my home computer so I can afterwards transfer and stern up files without have to use a Flash drive all the time? I've get some stuff which is just track too big to copy over any other way.

Buy a USB cable that has two USB mannish jacks, and then connect your laptop to your PC beside this cable. Windows will automatically install this drive or open a different window for you that allows you to do anything you needed!
Of course transferring data beside USB has a giant speed ( more than 400 MB per second ).
You probably need access to a home network system. You should check this out online, because I don't have a certain answer to this question, merely that when connected you can do this wirelessly, without the hassle of wires, but you have need of administrative access rights to each computer you connect similar to this.
I'm not too sure but there may be some bearing of transferring data through an ethernet cable.
