I broke the spacebar on my laptop.?
Answer:
If none of these YahooAnswers do it for you, here are a couple of other options...
1. Buy a downloadable copy of the Acer Travelmate 4220 manufacturer's hardware repair almanac for $6 (if you like your laptop, this is what I would do...within the hope that I could continue to fix things myself):

2. Post your request for information in the notebook forum for Acer:

3. Email the "laptop repair guy" (www.laptoprepairguy.com) and see if he have a solution for you.
it should simply clicp back into palce next to light pressure. the key are snaped onto a keyboard so the can be removed. look at the bottom of it and you should see the tab and match them next to the ones on the keyboard, it go on in with the sole purpose one way.
I service laptops...nearby is a very tab(s) by all key that hold them in place..if the tab are actually broken, I guess would try superglue where on earth they affix to their mounts...other than that, they will snap backbone on with pressure...If the grand piano cannot be repaired, EBAY generally have exact replacements at pretty low prices...
would be hard to articulate exactly, but all i can utter is look at it and see where it clips rear legs and just press down on it and hope it clips on
