Answer:
In my opinion, you should look for three important things. First, look at the processor speed is based on it's #### of RPM's, or own someone tell you what it is (sales associate). The better the number for that, the faster your computer will "think." Next, the amount of RAM is crucial as powerfully. You would like to see almost 1 gigapyte, but 512 megabytes is just as fine. The faster your processor, the sophisticated your RAM should be. Go for a 1 GB or more. Third, comfort. Size is not crucial, but comfort is, have her dance INTO the store and REALLY play with the size you buy. I made this mistake when I bought a gateway. I bought online in need really researching the size of my typing space. Most people know what a desktop grand piano feels approaching, but not a laptop. It is very different. So if she types around for a bit on a 16" screen keyboard, consequently BUY that size. Don't upgrade this at ALL. Go with doesn`t matter what size you feel comfortable typing on. That's IT! Macintosh or Apple computers, such as the MacBook, are great for schoolwork. You can use Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint. You can also expurgate music and video, and it comes with a built-in webcam so it make it easy to cart pictures of yourself or stay connected with own flesh and blood and friends with a webcam instant message. Its also extremely trouble-free to set up a network so you can connect to the internet and print wirelessly. It's interface is also more user-friendly than a Windows-based computer such as a Dell, Gateway, and IBM. I also cause ringtones for my cellphone on my iBook by using the iMovie HD application that came on it and consequently by using a converter application (free) that changes movie files to MP3 files and consequently use bluetooth to wirelessly sync the new directory to my Motorola Phone. Furthermore, Macs are less credible to get a virus. As long as PC's remain dominant virus maker are going to target them and the Mac's unix core is harder to crash because if one system crashes it makes sure the in one piece thing doesn't budge down with it since respectively application isn't directly tied to the operating system.
