i. 'made in china' is no issue
intercontinental manufacturing hub is china
to my ease, only the processors by intel / amd are made surrounded by usa > that too the upper segment., besides the gpu's
as for the rest of the components & assembly process, i doubt if anything is done in usa >>for products or laptops sold surrounded by usa / elsewhere
the hp & ibm's made in china are made at their own plants contained by china under their supervision & power standards
>> just engineer sure u stay clear of humara pc & tumhara notebook brands ! ... these are made in the spinal column alleys & cottages in china

the pentium dual core t2060 frightens me, as you mention pictographic designing & 3d model rendering ... that too in combination next to the intel gma950 for graphics

Most of the laptops contained by the world are manufactured in china because ofthe cheap and skilled work available there. Even within the USA all the laptops are "made-in--china".
Therefore within India 99% of laptops are Chinese.
i think almost adjectives things are manufactured in china.
i basically checked my pc, from mouse to monitor to motherboard. adjectives china made.

mainly adjectives electronics are made in china and that sticky label does not mean that every chinese product is of low element.i myself living in india am using a sony made within china laptop and that is functioning properly short a single problem for the past 3 years.
