Please aid, My compact disc drive won't reconize burned CD's or photo cd's.?
Answer:
Hi... try to read alike disc from another computer or another drive on the same system to gross sure it is not blank. I do mix up mine with blank ones accidentally so lots times :(
If you can view the contents from different places, contact your purveyor if still under warranty as the drive have gone faulty. Otherwise, try to re-burn the disc.
I doubt burning itunes playlist have caused this unless a poor characteristic of disc is used which could damage the drive.

I dont grasp it. Do you have another compact disc or DVD drive? if you do, have you tried reading the disc from at hand?
Most cases, bad driver does not allow you to read anything at adjectives however bad drive (device) may read convinced types of media just for instance cd only not dvd.
Additionally, disc or DVD drives do not normally have need of a different driver other than the XP have, in other words, they are adjectives plug n play. To reinstall the driver in XP, shift to Control Panel and open up System applet. Then walk to Hardware tab to open Device Manager fanlight. Expand DVD/CD-ROM Drives then right-click your drive and select uninstall. After that progress to Action on the top and click on Scan for hardware changes. This will liven up the driver.

Maybe the object your music didn't (record) onto your CDs because it was done incorrectly, or your system isn't competent to. But then, if you are chitchat about photos copied----they requirement to be downloaded to a Recordable DVD. Maybe your CD's and DVDs are getting you a little confused. Good Luck
try burning the cds at a slower speed, this might solve your problem.
When your surrounded by your burner program, under settings ,when burning ,product sure you are "finalizing" - or "closing" the cd...this puts the index on the disk, and makes it readable on other devices. Its probubly set on" dont finalize, give more later"., so it comes up as "no data " ,etc.
set up you cd drive's driver again . scan the virus .if it is not do fix you cd driver .it is discouraging.
