When laptops catch serviced, (upgraded with more RAM especially) their keyboards usually enjoy to get removed anyways to allow access to the motherboard (RAM sockets, CPU, CMOS mobile, etc.) Removing the keyboard however will probably negated any warranty you might have on the contraption though.

Yes, you should be able to remove it. On my laptops, there's usually a couple of screw on the bottom that need to be removed. Once done, you can pry up the grand piano from the front edge and slowly erect it out. A small ribbon cable will connect it to the motherboard. This too can be disconnected.

if i were you i wouldn't, budge to Wall mart or sumthin like that and surrounded by the electronics and ask for a keyboard cleaner its primarily a can with compressed nouns and a sort of little straw connected to it and it works pretty good
