Assuming you enjoy high speed Internet, you requirement a wireless router, which you will then enjoy to hook up to your Internet modem(the little box the Internet company gives you).
You can buy the routers at copious retailers, like radioshack, best buy, etc, but if you want to release some money, get it from newegg.com. Just be sure that it say it is wireless.
If you are unsure what a wireless router is, I recommend you visit one of the retailers I mentioned, and ask an associate, they will show you the product, make clear to you how it works, and needless to voice, try to sell the most expensive one to you. Trust me, when it comes to wireless routers, cheap is perfect, unless you are planning to do some serious gaming...
The only lead I see from buying it from them, is that if it doesn't seem to work, you can return or exchange it more smoothly.
*IMPORTANT: Some internet companies give you a modem next to wireless capabilities. Check if your modem have what seems to be for a time antenna, if it does, then you don't involve to buy anything else.
