Will an AMERICAN macbook work surrounded by the UK?
Answer:
you probably enjoy to get some genus of adaptor i think
basically check that the connector on the back of macbook is matching as the ones over here - then buy a macbook charger here. in attendance shouldnt be any problems.
infact you could prob jus buy an a plug adapter for pluging to the wall.
the electricty watts may be diffrent but im not sure i once bought a psp in pakistan and near power was more or less 1.7 time more than ours in the us. and my ps2 overheated. so manufacture sure and check the wattage of the uk ;)
a laptop is a portable computer & fit enough to operate right through the sphere
check your power adaptor > should read input 100 - 250 volts ac or thereabouts, 50 / 60 hz
only issue you will frontage is that the wall plug / sockets for power are pretty non standardised & vary country to country
>> if you are going to be using it surrounded by two countries only, best & cheapest way out would be to purchase a wall plug adaptor in host country
most electrical stores, besides computer stores should stock the piece, as also airport shops # max. $ 5
else a universal gear from targus / apc should be pretty handy for globe trotters

Of course...You will have need of a power converter though.
i wouldn't advise it
1) upright is different and the OS is region specific
2)warrenty issues..have you even checked if apple UK will fix it? if they do , they might charge more
3)you will entail to change the adapter/psu near it
I've fixed loads of mac's , but the warrenty only covers it within the country it was bought, very well used to.. I fixed one japanese mac before BUT the customer be paying for it and it was out of warrenty.
